Harry Potter Moment of the Week – No Contest

Harry Potter Moment of the Week is an amazing Harry Potter themed meme hosted over at Uncorked Thoughts and Lunar Rainbows I tend to join in when the topic appeals to me like this one did.

*

I’d like to preface this edition with a note that the two organisers of Harry Potter MOTW listed this topic a while before the tragic news of Alan Rickman’s passing last week. Thanks to him we fangirls saw one of the greatest characters of these books brought to life. Rest in peace, you will be sorely missed.

This week’s Harry Potter MOTW is Would you rather have Potions with Snape or tea with Umbridge?

which is a no-brainer.

Potions with Snape any day.

Because:

  1. Spoilers – Snape’s a good guy. Umbridge is a bitch.
  2. Potions is a class. I might actually learn something instead of sitting there drinking tea and trying not to swear at someone
  3. Tea with Umbridge usually = torture. No thanks.
  4. Just, Umbridge. No.

Which would you rather?

  1. hahahaha right?! I mean, sure I’d be terrified to have Snape as a teacher, but NOTHING could be worst than being in the same room as Umbridge…even for 5 minutes. O.O Thanks for participating this week 😀 New follower via Bloglovin’ & Twitter!!

  2. Hahaha! My favorite is the last one “Always”. Even though Snape wasn’t nice (especially to Harry, Hermione, and Neville), he wasn’t a complete evil woman either. Plus, as you said, Potions seems fun to me. I’d enjoy being in the class.

  3. I recently started re-reading the Harry Potter series, a few days before Alan Rickman’s passing. It felt a little erie.. Anyway, there are a lot of things I did not remember as it has been more than 7 years since I finished the last book, and I’m enjoying them so much! I’m on book 2 right now.
