On The First Craft of Christmas (2016!) – Festive Box Frames!

It’s the second time around for my favourite blog series! On the 12 days leading up to Christmas Eve I’ll be sharing with you some of my favourite Christmas-based crafty activities from all over the internet. (Most of them will be – or have been – tried by yours truly!)

The 12

As I said last time around – I know that traditionally the Twelve Days of Christmas begin on Christmas Day and continue to 5th January. But I don’t care. I’ll be listing 12 pre-Christmas crafts and giving them all a go!

First up…

On The First Craft of Christmas, I will share with you:

Festive Filled Picture Frames

I have seen so many variations of these on Pinterest and they just looked so simple that I had to give it a go. All that’s needed is vinyl or stickers – I simply used in-your-window stickers, a box frame, festive card stock and trinkets to fill it with.

All the necessary notions

The rest is pretty self explanatory. I used blu-tac to stick the card stock to the back of the frame because my book of card had so many designs – I might want to try a new one next year!

*Jingle Bells*

Fill with Christmassy bits and bobs and put the frame back together. Turn over and you’ll have the loveliest festive artwork!

*Santa Claus is coming to town*

Baublin’ good time.

Here’s the two I made! They’ll be hung up on my wall for the next few weeks at least!

  1. They’re both gorgeous, though I’m partial to the second one. So lovely!

I’m so glad it’s this time of year again, as I love your Crafts of Christmas feature! You were writing it when I started reading your blog last year. 🙂
